The town of Sharpsburg transforms into Sharpsmeade on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Pack your broomstick and your wand and travel to Sharpsmeade: A Magical Sharpsburg Fall Festival in Kennedy Park for live local music, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, horse-drawn carriage rides, food and more!
Sharpsmeade is a magical take on the Harry Potter celebration weekend, with visitors to the Village of Sharpsmeade being able to decorate the wings of their own golden snitches and celebrate the new wizarding school year by taking snapshots at the Platform 9 3/4 photo booth at Kennedy Park (at 13th Street and North Canal Street). Live music will be performed by local recording artist Carrie Collins at 11 AM, continuing at noon with John Cihon, Sharpsburg’s own Wild Bill Cox starts at 1:00pm. Friends in Harmony closes down the day from 2-3 PM.
This is a family-friendly, pet-friendly event. Join in the fun and dress up in costume!
