community notifications and emergency alerts from the Sharpsburg Police via

Information about 911 and You! The 911 number
is only to be used in emergency situations. An emergency is any situation
that requires immediate assistance for police, fire, or EMS response. If you
are not sure of whether a situation is an emergency or not, be safe and dial
9-1-1 and let the call taker determine if you need emergency assistance. Your
call will be handled whether it is an emergency or not. Examples of when to call 9-1-1:

Watch – S.C.R.A.M. The Sharpsburg Crime Reduction
Association Members are taking back the Sharpsburg community! Join the
monthly Crime Watch meeting on the last Thursday of every month at the
Sharpsburg Borough Building in Council Chambers. The 2011 Meeting Dates are as
follows: February 24, March 31, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 21, August
25, September 22, and October 27.
Dates may change due to the holidays. All meetings will take
place at 7:00 PM in the evening. Refreshments are served. Contact the Sharpsburg
