The Sharpsburg Police Department is located at the Borough building at 1611 Main Street. Four full-time and four part-time Sharpsburg Police officers proudly serve and protect the community. Leo J. Rudzki, Jr. is the current Police Chief in Sharpsburg.

Information about 911 and You! 911 is only to be used in emergency situations. An emergency is any situation that requires immediate assistance for poilce, fire, or EMS response. If you are not sure of whether a situation is an emergency or not, be safe and dial 9-1-1 and let the call taker determine if you need emergency assistance. You call will be handled whether it is an emergency or not. Examples of when to call 9-1-1:
