WATER SERVICE
Water service is now provided by Hampton-Shaler Water Authority and the distribution lines for water are maintained by the Hampton-Shaler Water Department. Visit Hampton-Shaler Water Authority to set up online payment options and check other information regarding your account.
Payments:

Payments can be dropped off at the Sharpsburg Borough building in the dropbox located by the front stairs.

All HSWA customers can pay their bills at the Authority office located at 3101 McCully Road, Allison Park, PA 15101. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Payments can be made by cash, check, money order or debit/credit card. If paying by debit/credit card an additional fee would apply. We also have a night deposit box located by the front entrance to the building where only payments made by check can be placed after hours.

WATER BREAK PROCEDURES
Do you have a water break? Call Hampton-Shaler Water Authority immediately.
Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, CALL 412-486-4867
After hours and weekends, CALL 412-822-7766
The Water Plant operates 24/7. They will contact the appropriate personnel for water breaks, traffic control and pumping out basements (if necessary).

SAMPLE WATER BILL
Note 1 – Usage in thousands of gallons. This account has used 10,000 gal in 2-month cycle
Note 2 – HSWA rate is $4.00 per 1,000 gal used. $4.00 x 10 = $40.00
Note 3 – This is the HSWA base rate of $17 for 5/8″ meter, regardless of how many gallons used
Note 4 – This is the sewer rate, based on 10,000 gal used, at the current rate of $9.10 per thousand for residental and $9.75 per thousand for commercial, including ALCOSAN charges, which will continue to increase annually per Alcosan
Note 5 – This is the base sewer rate charged by the municipality
Note 6 – This is a hydrant charge that is assessed to Sharpsburg Borough by HSWA
Note 7 – This is the trash collection charge at the current rate of $16.60 per month and $15.00 per month for seniors
